Congratulations to Martienus Thomas and his band of Helpers for this years Sponsored Swim held over a couple of days at Aberystwyth University Pool. 

There were 120 Swimmers of all ages and standards who each swam 400m to raise a grand total of £6,222  to be split between two Charities, Wales Air Ambulance and Cystic Fibrosis Trust. 

Everyone then enjoyed an excellent party, raising more money, with an auction and raffle. A long established beard was shaved off and to the enjoyment of the Youngsters, Martienus also has a delightful new hairstyle !!!

There were also very well deserved certificates and badges presented to 1^st time 400m swimmers, and although not everyone was able to attend, there are a few pic’s below.
